Smart Technology
As a school we have signed a letter of collective action, alongside other Ashford schools, regarding the dangers of phones for children and why parents and carers should think twice before buying their child a smartphone.
This letter advises parents and carers not to give their child a smartphone before they are in Year 9.
For children at Bethersden Primary School, we hope that no child will have a smartphone whilst in primary school. Please see the letter below, which we have sent out to all parents and carers.
