Spelling Shed
Spelling Shed is an online spelling scheme that we have adopted here at Bethersden, aiming to promote a passion and drive to succeed in our spellings. Spelling Shed is a spelling drill experience, whereby spellings can be set accordingly of ability and age group. Tasks (known as assignments on Spelling Shed) are set weekly for children to engage in. Children also have the opportunity to choose and set their own tasks, using the ‘play’ mode or ‘bee keeper’.
Children all have their own personal logins, which they have access to use both in school and at home. Click the button below to log on.
The engagement that we’ve seen already is great, but there is always room for improvement. Time to get onto Spelling Shed and moving up that leader board! Personal excellence is rewarded for performance and dedication on Spelling Shed, celebrated termly in our Excellence Assemblies. It’s been lovely to see such a variety of children and age groups achieve these termly certificates for their outstanding performance on Spelling Shed.
