Moving into term 6 – the school council have been busy representing the children in their class.
Recent meeting updates
The school council were keen to do their bit in keeping our school grounds and local area clean and litter free. We met twice (once with KS1 representatives and once with KS2) during their lunch play and went litter picking. Well done to the school council on giving your own time to make a difference.
The school improvement plan – The school council were asked to gather the views of their classes so that they can be fed into the school improvement plan (This document will be written Ms Heaton, with support of other school leaders, and will the key document to driving the school forwards in the next academic year.) All classes suggestions have been collected and submitted to the leadership team. Thank you to the school council for your support in this.
Looking ahead to term 6 – The school council are keen to support a charity, we will look more at this next term. We will also be thinking about feeling safe at school, who can children talk to and do they feel happy to seek this support if it is needed.
